"Eero" went to the US as a replacement puppy to my friend Adrienne,
whom I had known since 1981, when we met in Ludwigs Corner, PA
at the WSSCA National Specialty almost 30 years ago!
Eero did not turn out too bad. He took his first BOB win at the National Specialty
at the tender age of 10 months, becoming the youngest ever and first ever
class dog to take BOB at this annual big show. He repeated his win in 2004,
when he went again BOB! In between he had been awarded 1st AOM
at the Nationals. During his show career he got 47 times a group placement
and won the group 9 times. He took BEST IN SHOW at an all breed show in 2004,
thus becoming the first undocked WSS in the US to win a BIS!
Eero was the #1 WSS in the United States, all-breeds, breed, all systems as well as Pedigree’s Best of the Best of Breed in 2004.
He won WSSCA Deckard’s Cup in 2004 and 2005 for top Welsh Springer Spaniel. 
He won the top agility Welsh Springer award in 2007.
Besides twice winning first award of merit at the WSSCA National Specialty,
he has been Best of Breed at the Regional Specialty and numerous supported entries. He is also a multiple highest scoring dog in trial for his current obedience career.
