Walk of Fame! She took Group-1 at Kemi All Breed Ch Show!
Her brother Benton What Women Want took maximum points (50)
at a tracking test and got 1st prize! Well done!

Mimmi aka INT NORD CH FINJW-08 Benton Walk of Fame added
one more BOB win to her credit as well as Group-3 at Mantsala All Breed
Ch show. Sister Lisbeth, Benton Winter Storm was Best Bitch-3. 10 month
old Woody, Benton Catch Another Duck took his 3rd CC and was BOS. NORDJW-09
Benton Anaheim Mighty Duck was Best Male-3 with res CC. Woody
was also shortlisted in BIS junior among many competitors. Benton
breeders class took BIS-3 placement in the finals.
Miira aka Benton Yosemite Park went to a show in Sweden and came
back with a CC! She also needs her final CC from Finland as well as her
working test to become Finnish & Swedish Champion! Well done!!

Sylvi aka NORDJW-09 FINJW-09 FINW-09 Benton Yale Graduate
took this weekend 2 CC's CACIB, BOB and BOS in Sweden. She just needs
one more CC from Finland (plus her working test) to become both Finnish &
Swedish Champion. In addition to her 20 CC's from Finland, 2 CC's from Sweden,
she also has CC from the World Winner Show in Denmark! Good girl Sylvi!

We had a good weekend at Forssa and Pori Int Ch shows.
Woody aka Benton Catch Another Duck took his 2nd CC with BOB at
Forssa All Breed Ch show. His halfsister Lisbeth, Benton Winter Storm was BOS.
The next day at Pori Int, Nord Ch FINJW-08 Benton Walk of Fame took her last
CACIB for her Int Ch title and is now both INT NORD CH! Her sister Lisbeth took
resCACIB. BOS with CC & CACIB was NORDJW-09 Benton Anaheim Mighty Duck.
My breeders group took BIS-2 in the finals! Well done to all!

We have returned back from the World Winner Show in Herning, Denmark
and the big Spaniel Specialty held the same weekend in Stoholm. At the WW
show Benton WSS took both CC's and res CACIB's. Erkki aka Int Ch Benton Ugly Duckling finished his NORD CH title by getting his DK CH title at the WW.
Sylvi aka Benton Yale Graduate took the bitch CC and resCACIB. She was too
young to become DK CH yet. Benton Winter Storm took a nice 3rd place with
excellent in big open class and Ch Benton Walk of Fame won working.
Ch Benton Pep Talk was 3rd with excellent in bitch champion class.
Benton Anaheim Mighty Duck and Benton Catch Another Duck were 2nd and 3rd in big junior class. The biggest win was though in breeders and progeny classes, where Benton Pep Talk had BIS4 progeny and Benton WSS were placed as BIS2

The next day at the biggest Spaniel Specialty ever in Denmark, Benton had
a good day again! Mimmi aka FIN & S(u) CH FINJW-08 Benton Walk of Fame
took the bitch CC and BOB and finished her NORD CH title! She was also BIS
working dog as well got an honourable BIS4 placement! Her mother, Ch Benton Pep Talk was 2nd best bitch and sister Lisbeth, Benton Winter Storm 4th best bitch. Young Woody, Benton Catch Another Duck won junior and was 3rd best male in an entry of 54 and Benton Anaheim Mighty Duck 4th best male. My breeders group was BOB and Ilona had BOB BIS2 progeny. Woody (Benton Catch
Another Duck) went BIS-2 junior in a quality entry.

and took CACIB and BOB. This was the 9th Int Ch show in Finland 2010
and also the 9th CACIB that went to a Benton WSS bitch :)

We had a nice day at rainy Vantaa group Ch show. The youngsters,
Kamu and Betsy got their 1st CC's! Well done to Marianne and Johanna.
Their aunt, Benton Winter Storm took BOB win and went on to group-3
in a combined group of 7 & 8.

What a great show again.
Our annual Springer Spaniel Annual Main Ch show took place in Karkku.
74 wss was entered under Debbie Roberts, UK and Jane Graham, UK
(puppies & veterans). Ilona aka Ch Benton Pep Talk has been shown last time
in Karkku 2009 show, where she took BEST IN SHOW. She made a great comeback, going BOB again and finishing the day with BIS2. She also had BIS progeny group. Benton had BIS breeders and Int Ch Benton Lets Go Girls took BIS veteran win. Woody aka Benton Catch Another Duck was BOB and BIS-2 junior.

A busy weekend for some of the Benton WSS.
Teme (Benton Anaheim Mighty Duck) and Sylvi (Benton Yale Graduate)
both took CC's at Joensuu Fkk shows on saturday and sunday.
Woody aka Benton Catch Another Duck, aged 9 months and 4 days
made his debut in junior classes and took his 1st CC at Jarvenpaa FKK Ch Show. Well done to all!

It has often been said that the strength of a kennel lies in its bitches.
We do believe in this :)
There has been 7 International Championship shows this year in Finland.
7 CACIB's and 7 resCACIB's have been offered. Benton WSS bitches
have managed to collect all 7 CACIB's plus 4 resCACIB's! We hope we can
continue to produce quality bitches in years to come with careful planning
and right choices. Choosing the right dog is not always easy,
ideas go through my head all the time, processing information that
I have been observing during all these years.

and Ch Benton Walk of Fame on sunday under Patric Ragnarsson, Sweden.

This weekend Benton WSS had good time in various activities.
Int Ch Benton Quit Talkin competed for the first time in obedience Winner class
and got 2nd and Benton United States as well as Ch Benton United Colours
both did very well in agility. It was the first official start of United States.
Well done to all!

Three Benton dogs were entered to Puumala group ch show.
Ch. Benton Walk of Fame took BOB again and went on to Group-2!
Benton Yale Graduate and Benton Anaheim Mighty Duck were both
2nd in best bitch/male and got their CC's again. Sylvi aka Yale Graduate has managed to collect in her last 12 shows 11 CC's and 1 res CC!!

The same day Int Ch Benton Ugly Duckling took BOS at Koski Tl group Ch show, beaten by his junior daughter for BOB. Woody aka Benton Catch Another Duck was BOB puppy!

We had a very nice show in Lahti. Benton WSS took both CACIB and CC
and BOB & BOS. Mimmi aka FIN & S (u) CH FINJW-08 Benton Walk of Fame
took again BOB and went in very hard competition as Group-3!
Well done to all! Thank you again for my puppybuyers for staying till the end,
so we were also able to show my breeders group in the finals!
The Benton girls have really dominated this years Int Ch shows in Finland!
There has been so far 5 Int Ch shows in Finland, twice Mimmi
(Benton Walk of Fame) has taken BOB (Turku Int, Lahti Int),
her sister Lisbeth (Benton Winter Storm) took BOB in Tampere Int,
Benton Yale Graduate took BOB in Vaasa Int and Benton Quit Talkin took BOS
in Kajaani Int. Twice this year WSS has been placed in group finals at Int Ch show, and these two are littersisters Lisbeth (Group-4 in Tampere)
and Mimmi (Group-3 in Lahti). On top of that Mimmi went to take BOB
at Lilla Stockholm Int Ch Show in Sweden!

since he was 9 months old to take his 2nd CC! Ch Benton Under Oath won BOS.

We had a great weekend at Lilla Stockholm Show in Sweden!
FIN CH FINJW-08 Benton Walk of Fame took her swedish CC, CACIB and BOB and was shortlisted in the group. She became also Swedish Show Champion!
Well done to Piia and Mimmi. We had a really lovely trip with a lot of laughter,

Tampere FKK Int was supposed to be the last show for Lisbeth
(Benton Winter Storm) before her hopeful litter in the end of april.
It could not have gone better. She won open class and ended up Best Bitch with her first CACIB and later on she took BOB! The day did not end here,
she also went Group-4! Well done to my lovely Lisbeth.

"Lovely head. Beautiful shape. Excellent shoulder and neck. Nice topline. Excellent movement."

Good news from Australia. Aust Ch Laugharne Viva La Duck,
daughter of the late Int Ch Benton Everybody Duck is heavily in whelp to
Int Ch Benton Lookin' For Duck via AI. We are looking forward to seeing
the result of this 'Duck breeding' eventually.

It has been again time to say goodbye to one of the greats!

This time to
INT FIN S N DK CH EUW-06 KBHW-07 NORDW-07,-08 DKKW-08 KLBCH Benton Let Em Talk "Martta",
at the age of almost 8 years young.

She had an immaculate showcareer in Finland before she moved to Denmark
in 2007 to Kennel Churnwood. She won a gundog group in Finland and several other group placements. She won her first winner title at European Winner Show, but was often 'the bridesmaid' - she took 2nd best bitch placement at Norwegian Winner 2004, Finnish Winner 2005, Nordic Winner 2005, Finnish Winner 2006.
She was a great broodbitch like her dam. She had two litters in Finland with me,
13 puppies, 8 champions. In her only litter in Denmark, so far there are
2 champions from the litter of 4. She gave me the beautiful sisters

(TOP WSS in FINLAND 2007, BIS winner at Karkku Springer Specialty 2006),
S U(u) CH NordJW-05 SW-07 FINW-08 Benton Pep Talk
(Runner Up TOP WSS in FINLAND 2007, 2008, TOP WSS BITCH in FINLAND 2008,
BIS winner at Karkku Springer Specialty 2009).
Also in her second litter she produced INT & FIN & S(u) CH Benton Ugly Duckling (TOP WSS in FINLAND 2009) among others.

But like the others, above all she was a lovely gentle dog,
with a superd temperament. She always gave her best in everything she did.
She will be missed tremendously! Her last show in Denmark was only 2 weeks ago, when she took again BOB and went on to BIS-4 placement.

While we had a great weekend in the UK visiting Crufts, Inka was again busy
with 'Sylvi' aka NordJW-09 FINW-09 FINJW-09 Benton Yale Graduate and showed her to a CC and BOS placement at Polvijarvi group Ch Show.
At the same show 'Teme', NordJW-09 Benton Anaheim Mighty Duck
took his 4th CC. Well done to both!

Benton Everybody Duck "Ducky",
who was owned and loved by Leena Laine.
He did a lot of winning during his showcareer, including a BIS win
but above all he was a lovely pet with superd temperament.

He sired 12 litters in Finland, 1 in Sweden, 1 in USA and 1 in Australia (so far) and has produced 24 champions and many other CC winners.

then all the three girls from my W-litter are champions!

and again got res CC.

Martta aka Int & Nord Ch EuW-06 KBHW-07 NORDW-07,-08 Benton Let Em Talk took two more BOB wins at Spaniel Club shows in Denmark and went on BIS-2 win
on saturday. At the same show, two more of her offspring finished their ch
title and total of her champion offspring is now 10 out of 17 puppies.

Int Ch Benton Quit Talkin' took Best Bitch win,
followed by FIN CH FINJW-08 Benton Walk of Fame, who took CACIB.
Young Teme, NORDJW-09 Benton Anaheim Mighty Duck
was Best junior and shortlisted in BIS junior.
